Mental Health Practicioner

Stone Labyrinth Counseling & Wellness, PLLC offers a great opportunity for clinicians who are looking to grow professionally while enjoying the autonomy of private practice—without the burden of administrative tasks.

What Success in This Position Looks Like:
  • Building and maintaining a consistent caseload of engaged clients.
  • Delivering evidence-based, culturally responsive therapy with professionalism and integrity.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in a respectful, communicative, and team-oriented manner.
  • Maintaining thorough and timely clinical documentation.
  • Actively participating in supervision, consultation, or team meetings (as applicable).
  • Upholding the values of ethical practice, client advocacy, and lifelong learning.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, couples, or family therapy to clients (populations based on your preference and expertise).
  • Maintain a caseload of 10-30 clients per week, with scheduling flexibility.
  • Complete intake assessments, treatment planning, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with state and practice standards.
  • Collaborate with outside providers when necessary (e.g., psychiatrists, schools, case managers).
  • Attend periodic staff meetings or consultations to foster connection and clinical support.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and state licensure ethics and renewal requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Active and unrestricted Illinois license: LCPC, LPC, LCSW, LSW, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience preferred, but not necessary.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with the practice’s mission and culture.
  • Experience with telehealth and electronic health records platforms is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to inclusivity and cultural humility.
  • Must carry professional liability insurance (or be willing to obtain upon hire).

Core Responsibilities:
  • Deliver energetic and engaging coaching sessions to clients (populations based on your preference and expertise).
  • Recruit new clientele at the rate of 1-2 per quarter.
  • Attend periodic staff meetings or consultations to foster connection and clinical support.
  • Regional travel–must have reliable means of transportation.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in field (coaching, teaching, corporate).
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with the practice’s mission and culture.
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to inclusivity and cultural humility.
  • Must carry professional liability insurance (or be willing to obtain upon hire).
  • Active and unrestricted Illinois license: LCPC, LPC, LCSW, LSW, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (preferred, but not required).
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience (preferred, but not required).
  • Experience with virtual communication formats (e.g.: Zoom, Teams) is a plus.
